5 我照着
耶和华我神所吩咐的，
将律例、典章教训你们，
使你们在所要进去得为业的地上遵行。
6 所以你们要谨守遵行，
这就是你们
在万民眼前的智慧、
聪明。他们听见这一切律例，
必说：
‘这大国的人真是有智慧，
有聪明！’
7 哪一大国的
人有神与他们相近，
像耶和华我们的神，
在我们求告
他的时候与我们相近呢？
8 又哪一大国有这样公义的律例、典章，
像我今日在你们
面前所陈明的这一切律法呢？

Shēn mìng jì 4 zhāng 5-8 jié
5 Wǒ zhàozhe
yēhéhuá wǒ shén suǒ fēnfù de,
jiāng lǜ lì, diǎnzhāng jiàoxùn nǐmen,
shǐ nǐmen zài suǒyào jìnqù dé wèi yè dì dìshàng zūnxíng.

6 Suǒyǐ nǐmen yào jǐn shǒu zūnxíng,
zhè jiùshì nǐmen
zài wànmín yǎnqián de zhìhuì,
cōngmíng. Tāmen tīngjiàn zhè yīqiè lǜ lì,
bì shuō: ‘Zhè dàguó de rén zhēnshi yǒu zhìhuì,
yǒu cōngmíng!’

7 Nǎ yī dàguó de
rén yǒu shén yǔ tāmen xiāngjìn,
xiàng yēhéhuá wǒmen de shén,
zài wǒmen qiúgào
tā de shíhòu yǔ wǒmen xiāngjìn ne?

8 Yòu nǎ yī dà guóyǒu zhèyàng gōng yì de lǜ lì, diǎnzhāng,
xiàng wǒ jīnrì zài nǐmen
miànqián suǒ chén míng de zhè yīqiè lǜ fǎ ne?

5 I follow
The Lord my God commanded,
To teach you the laws and ordinances,
Make you do it on the land where you want to go in and get your possessions.
6 So you must be careful and do,
This is you
Wisdom in front of Wanmin,
clever. They heard all these decrees,
Must say:
‘The people of this great country are really wise,
Be smart! ’
7 Which country's
People have gods close to them,
Like the Lord our God,
Ask in us
Is his time close to us?
8 What great country has such righteous decrees and ordinances,
Like I am with you today
What about all the laws before me?
